Coming together
Everything flows in a form. Like the peaceful waters that flow from the Atlantic into the Indian Ocean, bypassing the southern tip of the African continent. And everything is in motion, coming together, an artistic soul that reflects the greatness of all that is. Bruno Geda created artistic worlds and cared deeply that we all come together in unity. He saw a planet that we have within us, where we merge in our many traditions and connect to the world at large.
We are sometimes like a red and a blue planet, but we have the potential to merge in peaceful unity, bringing inspiration to the souls of others, connecting like pages of a single book, appreciating each other’s uniqueness and joining in chorus, joining in the wonder of a sunrise.
The silence of the sunrise captures not only the imagination, but is a spirit that is a wavelength of light in its eternity. The sunrise extends beyond the horizon. We expand our understanding as we hold the light with our eyes, as we witness the light we hold within.
And it is through the light of day that Bruno Geda contemplates a new meaning of the social coming together of East and West, glimpsing the horizon through the reeds. On a beach dune, witnessing the rise of the first sunlight streaming across the ocean of wisdom. Waves of words flowing endlessly like waves in the wind, always inland where palms and pines share their expanse. East and West are like land and sea, both coming together to form geography, the puzzle of a whole.
Bruno Geda’s artistic wonder carries new ideas of togetherness and shared destiny across a vast space, under the starry firmament of the canopy that holds the world like the pillars of a date palm.
Wisdom
Bruno Geda’s sculptures are as strong as cedars by the sea, with deep common roots. They are rooted in knowledge and understanding, for cedars, symbolic as they are, allow wisdom to accumulate within them.
For together we resonate like a cedar forest, when what we know is based on knowledge and reading, on commonality and sharing. The depths of Bruno Geda’s sculptures engage the pursuit of wisdom and mark the physical world.
The dedicated pursuit of peace through knowledge and form is itself like an ocean. Perhaps it is a book yet to be written on papyrus pages, each line ending with a punctuation mark, precious ink from the feather. Inspired by his work, we fill archives of poetry. The art of peace and its pursuit is continuous like a sine wave, flowing endlessly through time like ocean waves.
Peace becomes more than an ocean of insight; it becomes an anchor of the depth of knowledge found within for generations to come, from which all benefit.
The soft olivine sculpture allows the physicality of the world to take center stage. A physical manifestation of a cultural dimensionality that can lead to intercultural unity and understanding. We see the artistic freedom that has led to creative expression.
In this sense, Bruno Geda’s sculptures, an expression of the freedom of the human form, are like a vessel of wisdom united in a single medium, cedar-like wood.
The wood curls outward like the warm Gulf Stream, bringing the warmth of artistic creation to the world, sharing the knowledge of peace with many. And the multi-dimensionality of the wood sculptures creates a soulful connection.
Equilibrium
Diptychon is a key concept in the art of Bruno Geda. A diptychon seeks a balance between the earthly elements. The balance of water and human form, the human soul and human form, a face that symbolizes the coming together of East and West. Both are sides of the whole, both come together and find balance and growth.
There is growth, spiritual and intellectual identity, and we can identify with its inner resonance. This is reflected in the cubic shapes that represent form, a physical key.
There is unity in divergence. Both forms intertwine and are like one made for the other. The light is hidden within, but in his art it is found without. The interlocking brings both sides to light, to form, as if they were made of two atoms. And atoms can become water, like tears of amber from the cedars of the north. They bring us all together in all circumstances and create unity among all, East and West.
Light
Human experience, human form reveals tears of amber. Light seems hidden within, east and west, revealing deeper light.
Light from within channels water between lands, bending effortlessly through a valley of light.
Like light, water bends mountains on its way to the source, creating an immersive human connection with human nature. Light from both sides traverses space.
Awakening
Awakening is a concept central to Bruno Geda’s work. It allows for the expression of human growth and soulfulness; the light that expresses the renewal and continuation of the relationships we share with each other and the transcendence that lifts us to new heights.
The light that shines upon us as we touch the tender grass sitting by the garden pond. The soft light that shines on the soft green reeds. We sit in silence and contemplate the greater whole. And each reed is like a pillar of strength upon which rests an entire society and its transformative experience. East and West connect and reach out, whatever the difference, creating a symphony of a well-watered garden.
Origin
Light brings us back to our origin, for we are like puzzles searching for our inner center, the inner square. The origin. In Bruno Geda’s art we find contemplation to discover our spiritual nature and origin in form. We emotionally return to our own inner form in the moment, contemplating the soft texture that feels like precious linen, a quality garment.
Both elements of the human form come together in soft wood, our earthly woody nature and our striving for the higher and universal essence, creating transcendence to reach the inner origin and original state. The light shines on the human form, half lit, half dark, almost like the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. And like the human form, the emotional geography of the world can only be hinted at, but it is still perceptible in the human form, even as an illustration.
Where one side is of the East, another side is of the West. Symbolically, a journey of the soul as it makes the transition to origin, building on multiple layers of the day, layers like chapters of life, leaves on which to write. There is return and along the way, repair and restoration of our inner energy.
And as a day has twenty-four hours, a full sun and moon is like the completion of east and west, as the shape of the human face is a unity of the blue earth and all its time zones.
Return
The eternal of art is illuminated, the soul revealed in human form. We all return from a global journey to sit together and drink tea. We have made connections on our return with shared traditions to tell. Now, as we sit together, the essence of social identity and identification of East and West is approached in an engaged, loving conversation.
Participation in a global conversation leads to wholeness and worldly brokenness dissolves into harmony. Light re-enters the human form. The roots of the fig trees connect beneath the plain, spreading light from above into the nourishing parts of the date palms. We all seek connection and connect the oases and cedar forests, green buds of light in the western deserts and along the ancient Silk Road.
Bruno Geda’s art is the gradual healing, the merging of the oases, individual networks of beauty, buds of artistic beauty. An ocean full of grains of sand sparkling with light. In the restoration of a desert garden, one sees humanity, connecting East and West, reunited to create wholeness, illustrating the artistic form to fully express the artistic spirit and the universe.

Incontro
Tutto fluisce in una forma. Come le serene acque che fluiscono dall’Atlantico nell’Oceano Indiano, bypassando l’estremità meridionale del continente africano. E tutto è in moto, si riunisce: un’anima artistica può riflettere la grandezza di tutto ciò che esiste. Bruno Geda ha creato mondi e teneva profondamente a che ci incontrassimo. Vedeva un universo/mondo che è in noi, dove fondere le diverse tradizioni e connettersi con l’intero pianeta.
A volte siamo come un pianeta rosso e azzurro, ma abbiamo il potenziale per fonderci in un tutto in pace, regalando ispirazione alle altrui anime, connettendoci come pagine di un unico libro, apprezzando l’unicità dell’altro e unendoci in un coro, nella meraviglia di un’alba.
Il silenzio dell’alba ci cattura non solamente a livello di immaginazione, essendo simile a uno spirito in sintonia con la luce nella sua eternità. L’alba si estende al di là dell’orizzonte. La nostra comprensione aumenta mentre i nostri occhi reggono la luce, e testimoniamo che esiste una luce interiore.
Ed è attraverso la luce del giorno che Bruno Geda medita un nuovo significato per l’incontro tra Oriente e Occidente, scrutando l’orizzonte tra i giunchi. Su una duna di sabbia, testimoniando il primo raggio di sole che scorre su un oceano di saggezza. Le parole, come onde, fluiscono senza fine nel vento, verso la terraferma – dove palme e pini condividono la loro ampia chioma. Oriente e Occidente sono come terra e mare, che si incontrano per formare la geografia, il puzzle del tutto.
La meraviglia artistica di Bruno Geda porta con sé nuove idee di solidarietà e di un destino comune attraverso lo spazio, sotto un firmamento stellato, regge il mondo che sui pilastri di una palma da dattero.
Saggezza
Le sculture di Bruno Geda sono forti come cedri in riva al mare, con profonde radici comuni. Sono radicate nel sapere e nella comprensione, dato che i cedri, simbolicamente, permettono alla saggezza di accumularsi in essi.
Insieme si ragiona come in una foresta di cedri, quando ciò che sappiamo è basato sul sapere e la lettura, sulla comunione e la compartecipazione. La profondità delle sculture di Bruno Geda sta nella ricerca di una saggezza, che sia impronta per il mondo reale.
La ricerca delicata di pace attraverso la conoscenza e la forma è come un oceano. Forse è un libro ancora da scriversi su papiri – ogni riga terminando con un punto particolare – nel prezioso inchiostro di una piuma. Ispirati dal suo lavoro, potremmo riempire archivi di poesia. L’arte della pace e la sua ricerca sono senza fine come un’onda sinusoidale, che fluisce eternamente attraverso il tempo.
La pace va oltre un oceano di introspezione; diventa un’ancora nella profondità della conoscenza per le generazioni a venire, della quale tutti beneficiamo.
La morbida scultura di olivina permette al mondo materico di trovarsi al centro del palcoscenico. Una manifestazione fisica di una dimensione culturale che può condurre all’unità interculturale e alla comprensione. Osserviamo la libertà artistica che ha condotto all’espressione creativa.
In questo senso, le sculture di Bruno Geda sono l’espressione della libertà della forma umana, come vascelli di saggezza uniti in un solo medium, un legno simile al cedro.
Il legno si volge all’esterno come la tiepida corrente del Golfo, diffondendo calore alla creazione artistica del mondo, compartecipando la conoscenza della pace. E la multi-dimensionalità delle sculture di legno crea una connessione appassionata.
Equilibrio
Il dittico è il concetto chiave dell’arte di Bruno Geda. Un dittico che cerca l’equilibrio tra gli elementi terrestri. L’equilibrio tra acqua che scorre o tra anima e forma umana: un volto che simboleggia l’incontro tra Oriente e Occidente. Entrambe facce della stessa medaglia, che si incontrano per trovare un equilibrio che sia crescita.
Vi è sviluppo, identità spirituale e intellettuale, e possiamo identificarci con tale risonanza interiore. Tutto ciò si riflette nelle forme cubiche che rappresentano ‘la forma’: una chiave fisica.
Vi è unità nella separazione. Entrambe le forme si intrecciano e sembra che siano fatte l’una per l’altra. La luce si nasconde all’interno, ma nella sua arte si trova senza meno. L’intreccio porta entrambi i lati alla luce, alla forma – quasi fossero fatti da due atomi. E gli atomi possono diventare acqua, come lacrime d’ambra dei cedri del Nord. Ci spingono a incontrarci in ogni circostanza e a creare unità: Oriente e Occidente.
Luce
L’esperienza umana, la forma umana rivela lacrime d’ambra. La luce vi si asconde, rivelandone una più profonda.
Il riverbero luminoso nei canali tra i terreni, si piega senza sforzo attraverso vallate luminose.
Come la luce, l’acqua si curva tra le montagne nel suo percorso verso la sorgente, creando una connessione umana immersiva con la natura. La luce attraversa lo spazio da entrambi i lati.
Risveglio
Il risveglio è un concetto centrale nell’opus di Bruno Geda. Permette l’espressione della crescita umana e della sensibilità; la luce esprime la rinascita e la continuazione delle relazioni che compartecipiamo e la trascendenza che ci innalza a nuove vette.
La luce che brilla su di noi mentre sfioriamo l’erba tenera sedendo presso uno stagno. La luce morbida tra i verdi canneti. E noi sediamo in silenzio a contemplare il tutto. Ogni canna è come una colonna che possieda la forza per reggere un’intera società, che ivi riposi, e la sua esperienza di trasformazione. Oriente e Occidente si ricongiungono e vengono in contatto, nonostante le differenze, creando la sinfonia di un giardino ben irrigato.
Origine
La luce ci riporta alle origini, dato che siamo come puzzle che cercano il nostro centro, il nostro io. L’origine. Nell’arte di Bruno Geda scopriamo la contemplazione che ci permette di raggiungere la nostra natura spirituale e l’origine nella forma. Ritorniamo emotivamente la nostro io più intimo, contemplando la soffice tessitura di un lino prezioso, di un indumento di qualità.
Entrambi gli elementi umani trovano la propria forma unendosi nel legno malleabile, la nostra natura terrigna e la nostra lotta per un’essenza più elevata e universale, che crea trascendenza per raggiungere l’origine profonda e lo stato originale. La luce brilla nella forma umana, una metà luminosa, l’altra metà oscura, quasi come il sole che si alza a est e tramonta a ovest. E come la forma umana, la geografia emozionale del mondo può solo essere allusa, ma è sempre percettibile in una forma, persino in un’illustrazione.
Mentre un lato appartiene all’Oriente, l’altro all’Occidente. Simbolicamente è un viaggio dell’anima mentre effettua la propria transizione verso l’origine, costruendo strati multipli del giorno – strati come capitoli di vita, foglie sulle quali scrivere. Vi è il ritorno e un lungo cammino, riparo e ristoro per la nostra energia più intima.
Come un giorno ha ventiquattr’ore, un sole e una luna piena sono il completamento di Est e Ovest. E la forma del volto umano è un’unità di terra azzurra in tutti i suoi meridiani.
Ritorno
L’arte eterna è illuminata: anima rivelata in forma umana. Tutti torniamo dal nostro viaggio per sederci insieme a bere un tè. Abbiamo incontrato nel nostro ritorno tradizioni condivise. Adesso, mentre sediamo tutti insieme, l’essenza dell’identità sociale e l’identificazione di Oriente e Occidente è approcciata in una conversazione impegnata e amorevole.
La partecipazione a una conversazione globale porta all’interesse e le fratture terrene si dissolvono nell’armonia. La luce ri-entra nella forma umana. Le radici dei fichi si connettono al di sotto del terreno, spargendosi leggere dall’alto nelle parti più nutrienti delle palme da dattero. Cerchiamo una connessione – unendo oasi e foreste di cedri, verdi boccioli di luce nei deserti occidentali e lungo l’antica Via della Seta.
L’arte di Bruno Geda è la cura graduale, la fusione delle acque delle oasi, la rete individuale di bellezza, boccioli di beltà artistica. Un oceano pieno di granelli di sabbia che splendono di luce. Nel ripristino di un giardino desertico, vediamo umanità, connessione tra Est e Ovest, riuniti per creare la totalità, regalando una forma artistica per esprimere compiutamente lo spirito artistico dell’universo.
